And how does a game key disappear suddenly?
Also, reviewing your previous posts, they're all asking people to buy games for you.
No, this doesn't add up at all.
If you bought it before Steam of course the key won't work
Hell if this worked i'd be having a LOAD more games in my library because i've got a pile of games in my closet
This person makes good sense but the original versions of Morrowind for PC needed a key. My best suggestion is to keep the discs you have for Morrowind and simply buy the game all over here through Steam. It's kind of anoying yes but it seems that now days you can't play a PC Game without some Client like Steam or the one that EA has. Some games that I've got here on Steam myself still required me to go onto the web, fill out sorts of junk before it would let me even play the games, and now my inBox for mail is over run.
Where do you get that the original versions of Morrowind for PC needed a key? I'm not being a troll or whatever, but I swear to god, I'm looking at my original jewel case/manual for Morrowind I bought back in 2002 right now. No CD key. I've installed it at least 50 times over the years (mods ♥♥♥♥ your game up and you have to reinstall a lot. Also, it's a 12 year old game.) I would know. Maybe later versions had a key, I don't know, but the originals didn't.
As far as paying 20 bucks for a 12 year old game he already owns? No way man. Just run that ♥♥♥♥ in compatibility mode for XP Service Pack 3, and keep your money. Be sure to patch your game too. (http://patches.bethsoft.com/)
Since you're a cheapskate, the 3-pack CD version is still for sale (for like $10 online) and it isn't that hard to find. You can't afford $10? Why not wait for the Steam sale which inevitably occurs for this game... I think I got it here 75% off so it was like $5.
But it's against the forum rules to ask for a free copy of the game from Steam. That's a quick way to get your account banned friend.
Odd, odd, odd. The version of Morrowind that I have, in which came in The Elder Scrolls Anthology Box Set with all the first 5 original Elder Scrolls games has a key. It may be that this is just a thing that is in the set that I bought. Not sure.
Good point to the original post but it's just odd, odd, odd. The version of Morrowind that I have, in which came in The Elder Scrolls Anthology Box Set with all the first 5 original Elder Scrolls games has a key. It may be that this is just a thing that is in the set that I bought. Not sure. It may be just to cut down on all the piracy of games that's been going on the past several years.
the bundle is from asus enteriainment
Asus Entertainment? What is that?
Just looked online and see that anything coming up under Asus Entertainment pulls up nothing but crap Asus Laptops. You're saying that you got all those games, in hard copy like Morrowind from a crap computer company like Asus? Hmm. The more this thread goes on the hoakier it seems to get.
No. There's no need to take photots of your things friends. I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT ASUS IS. It's POS in my book. I'd rather invest 2000 dollars and have a complete Proprietary System like Dell, that you can't really do much with without the risk of frying your motherboard in which I have done because I was using non proprietary and non Dell Specific expansion cards, ram, etc, than to invest a single wooden nickle in anything has the ASUS logo on it. That's just me though. I just find it a tad hoakie that a company would give away hard copy game software from another company in a bundle with one of there systems. That's a new one on me outside of the random System Specific Games that come preloaded on the thing.
