Which is why ppl say you can get 2 gauntlets. The problem is Vivec's left gauntlet needs to be 'attuned' to the player otherwise it is useless. So there is the questline for the last living Dwemer to attune the left handed version to the player.
edit: but if you use the Morrowind Patch project you can't wear 2.

Nope! Dead wrong there.
Vivec disappeared after the events of Morrowind but there's nothing at all that indicates that he was killed, let alone in his chambers. I don't think there were any attempts on his life, except Dagoth Ur of course, that take place anywhere near the time of Morrowind.
And, as stated before, someone like Vivec wouldn't have much use for using Wraithguard himself.
