Wraithguard
Why doesnt Vivec use wraithguard? He has it, so is he allergic to using armor or something?

Also, whats a good gauntlet to wear with Wraithguard? If there isn't one, I suppose I'll add a script-less copy of Jury-Rigged Wraithguard.

He doesnot wear because he actually has not the wraithguard in game...
When you kill him, loot him... He has got a "strange dweren artefact" on his body. If you go to Tel Fyr and speak with this the last dwemer, he can enchart it as an left gauntlet(also wraithguard)... Maybe you can bug it, if you resurrect vivec... As a result, you have to wraithguards

Well lore-wise he doesn't wear it because he doesn't need to. To him Wraithguard only has "minor protective enchantments" which would be no use to a demigod like him. Besides he stays in his palace all the time so why wear armor?

Because some one could break in and attempt to kill him? Which is exactly what ends up happening.

If you're talking about "strange dweren artefact"; it's implied he was wearing it. He had the left gauntlet in his posession, he gave the right gauntlet to the player.

Which is why ppl say you can get 2 gauntlets. The problem is Vivec's left gauntlet needs to be 'attuned' to the player otherwise it is useless. So there is the questline for the last living Dwemer to attune the left handed version to the player.

edit: but if you use the Morrowind Patch project you can't wear 2.

Nope! Dead wrong there.

Vivec disappeared after the events of Morrowind but there's nothing at all that indicates that he was killed, let alone in his chambers. I don't think there were any attempts on his life, except Dagoth Ur of course, that take place anywhere near the time of Morrowind.

And, as stated before, someone like Vivec wouldn't have much use for using Wraithguard himself.

Cannonically, no, but it still is a possibility. The Nerevrine can kill him over the course of the game, so it is possible.
