Which is better, Steel Katana or Steel Saber?
They both seem to have the same attack speed, and fatigue loss, the katana has more durability, but less damage...Which would should I use?

Look at those stats again, steel saber is just a little bit better, also I think this is the link you meant to type http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Daedric_Battle_Axe#Steel_Saber

>Sort Ascending or Descending< .... Whatever works for you.

Iron Fork: At top

Daedric Wakizashi: At bottom
-------------------------------------------------
Steel Saber: Above the Steel Katana

Steel Katana: BELOW the Steel Saber

About the link... I was in a rush to get to work.

The Steel Katana (overall) is better than a Steel Saber. That is not my opinion, but a fact!

Look at the stats

Steel Saber:
Chop 5-20
Slash 4-18
Thrust 1-5

Steel Katana:
Chop 3-20
Slash 1-18
Thrust 1-6

The steel Katana has higher speed, higher item condition, and does slightly more thrust damage, that's the only areas where it is better.

The ONLY areas where it is better? Really now?

Steel Saber: Enchantment Points 5.5
Steel Katana: Enchantment Points 6

This community is lost.
Just saw some community member post a comment in a thread... and the comment is off topic.

Derailed thread...

Its not off topic at all, since its directly about this thread.
This is the thread topic: "Which is better, Steel Katana or Steel Saber?

They both seem to have the same attack speed, and fatigue loss, the katana has more durability, but less damage...Which would should I use?"

So where did you post your answer for the OP? Maybe I missed it.

That was meant for the OP and everyone argueing over this thread to see, and is directly about this thread, so how do you not see that this comment is not off topic?

Oh and congrats you actually derailed the topic, since you care so much about that I wanted to point that out to you.
I already said the thread was derailed... and it was you who derailed it. You still didn't answer the OP.... So keep IGNORING THE THREAD TOPIC, and keep arguing about nothing that has to do with the OPs question.

Well I made my point. :P

ON TOPIC: The Steel Katana is slightly better than the Steel Saber.

Wow, didnt expect this thread to turn to ♥♥♥♥.
Well thanks guys for letting me know, I have no life so I already got up like 10 levels, glass armor and such, in just one day. I'm using the fiend katana you get from ra'virr, it's pretty useful, but where can I start looking for a daedric katana? I know they're SUPER rare.

Your best bet is probably farming Dremora in Daedric ruins. You can get a guranteed daedric shortsword from the tribunal add-on, in the Bazaar you have to volunteer to act in a play and a guy will attack you with the Daedric shortwsord
I also forgot to mention that you can spawn a Dremora in any Daedric ruin by stealing any of the offerings left at the altar
