its posiible, alöthough its hard ^^
That said, I've finished the game three times, and never once have I fought Dagoth Ur. What would my character do? Not fight a god! (That's called roleplaying). Instead I do what I'm there to do, destroy the heart. Is he really so easy a lvl 14 dude can defeat him? How lame.
Yes it was easy, tbh I completed it only on second try. That said I had 10 quality health potions and few stamina potions but still. Don't necesserily agree with the opinion that doing the sensible thing rather than completing the task you have is called roleplaying any more or less but to each their own.
fortunately I saved right before the final fight as well so I did it again. Can't believe I missed the ring, it just hovers right in front of the player.
Well you destroy the heart first anyway and then fight him. The introductions Vivec gives you says that you need to destroy the heart first. He is indeed unbeatable if you leave the heart alone but you're not supposed to fight him if you've not destroyed the heart.
Your characters need to be more ambitious :D
