The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

About Kezyma's Voices of Vvardenfell
Unfortunately, it cannot be used alongside OpenMW.

My question: what mods which overhaul graphics (of buildings, lands, LODs, textures, heads, clothes, animations) do you guys use alongside VoW?

Much obliged if anyone responds with answer, and order of mods would be swell too.

....or can it be used with OpenMW?

Voices can be used with both OpenMW and TES3MP.

For a total overhaul you could try Morrowind Rebirth, but it's not very friendly with other mods. Will work fine with Voices though.

For graphics in general I'd use Morrowind Enhanced Textures and its recommended mods:
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46221

For city/town and landscape overhauls I'd look at the BCOM and OAAB mods. Might want to look at this list: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48812

For clothes, armour, and bodies I'd look at the various "Better XYZ" mods; Better Armor, Better Clothes, Better Robes etc.

For combined body/head:
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48005

For just the body (you'll have to find own head mod): https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48387

If you want an overhaul of Bloodmoon/Solstheim, there's "Solstheim - Tomb of the Snow Prince": https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46810

For new lands the big three are Tamriel Rebuilt, Project Cyrodil and Skyrim: Home of the Nords.

I don't personally use animation mods, but the big one seems to be "Animated Morrowind"

I just got Voices of Vardenfel to work in OpenMW, am super happy.

Nobody cares. I know. But it is awesome to make Faggoth (sp LOL) even more annoying now, as he talks to the player.

Install Dynamic Actors and Comprehensive Rebalance. Enable "real time dialogue menu" under options->scripts->comprehensive rebalance while in game. You'll be happier.

Edit: Load VoV after Patch for Purists and merge your lists with delta plugin. Otherwise you may not hear some of the dialogue.

I got another issue.

I can play the game, and savegame in game.
File is created in OpenMW > Documents.

When I start a new session, savefile is not recognized in game. Sigh, always something.

Has to do with omwscripts and MO2.

I have keyzer plugin in MO2.
OMW stuff shows up as fake ESP files in MO2.

When I run OpenMW thru MO2, the omwscripts in MW2 are unchecked. I check them, play.

Next session, omw scripts in OpenMW (run from MO2) are again unchecked, and I have to check them again which makes the game not see my savefile.

Arrgh, LOL

Would suggest not using MO2 for OpenMW. Installing mods through OpenMW is very simple.

might go that route
OpenMW has its own MO2 builtin. It's not automated though, you have to manually create and add directories to the list, but it works just as well. In the launcher, go to "data directories" tab. Press "append" or "insert above" depending on where you want the mod to be (for insert above, you have to highlight the directory that will be below the new one), add the directory, then go to "content files" and enable the plugin (if it has one). You can also drag the plugin to put it where you want in the load order.

will do

as usual, making mods work is more fun than playing the game LOL

I am just happy people in Morrowind (and, err, not people, otherpeople, whatev) speak to me.
