The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Your personal "must have" mods.
I'm not talking the Code Patches or Script Extenders or any of that.

I mean mod mods.

What're the ones you insist upon having in your loadout?

OpenMW
But to note about this mod OpenMW is that it I think it hours will not track while playing on it hours on Steam but I heard there is a way to make it count hours but I am not really sure if this is true.
Is tracking your time that important? You can click on the games link at the top, then add a non steam game to your library.

You can make Steam track hours by changing the launch paramaters. Or just add it as a non-steam game as Meticulotron said.

Steam library > Morrowind > right click > properties > general > launch options.
In the text box direct it to openmw.exe and put %command% after it.

For example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Morrowind\OpenMW\openmw.exe" %command%

^What Ghost said, I have Steam track my OpenMW gameplay.

All my playtime on Steam is via OpenMW.

Thanks for telling me how to do it but I do not really like to play Non Steam Games sorry because I don't think they show on my profile and I don't think my Steam friends can see my hours on Non Steam Games but thanks still.:goldennugget::104::cozybethesda::describeorig::steamthumbsup:

You didn't understand.

When I open OpenMW; Steam says I am playing Morrowind.

It doesn't say I am playing OpenMW. It says "Chaosolous is playing Morrowind" but I am playing OpenMW. I never had to add any non-Steam game to Steam. You just alter the launch options of Morrowind.

Put your mouse over my Profile Pic Icon. See how it says 200 hours played on Steam? Every single second of that was OpenMW.

Sorry I thought you mean't that you had done the making steam track OpenMW hours the processe do make steam track OpenMW hours. And I knew there was at least two ways of doing it these are having OpenMW as Non Steam Game or making steam track OpenMW hours like Steam views OpenMW instead of morrowind so when you launch Morrowind it launches OpenMW and on Steam profiles and when steam friends look at hours it would say The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind and not OpenMW and show hours played on it on OpenMW sorry if I don't understand.

Sotha Sil Expanded (plus Gestalt Revoiced) - That disappointing 20 minute glimpse of the clockwork city at the end of Trubunal? It's now more along the lines of 20 hours and is pretty memorable for all the crazy stuff you see
Vivec Expanded - turns Vivec into a bigger city with a bunch of new quests
Animated Morrowind/Starfire's NPC additions - to make towns feel more alive and populated
Morrowind Strut - Okay fine, this just adds some shoes that play "Stayin' Alive" if you put them on, but it's funny when used in some situations.
Silt Striders, Boats and Gondoliers - Now you can actually experience travelling by these methods. Great for immersion.
Graphic Herbalism - The one thing Skyrim has over Morrowind is how harvesting plants just picks them up when you click on them. No treating them like containers because that's dumb.
