console commands do not work
I type in the commands, the game accepts them as valid, but yet the variables do not change (SetHealth 2000 does nothing for example)

Did you specify the target of those commands? If not, the game won't do anything.

player->sethealth 2000

no I did not specify the target and now that I found that you get VAC banned from modifying your stats so I dont even want to try it now. Making the whole reason for rebuying this game so I can build a rediculous character since I lost the discs years ago :(

You should have read the whole thread before jumping to conclusions. That guy got his VAC ban from cheating in Chivalry. It has nothing to do with Morrowind, which was MADE to be modifiable. You can set your stats to whatever you want.
