Armor question for mages
Usually I'm all about that robes and adventuring without tough steel but I found this nice Dwelmer chest and I wondered do we mages use the armor to help. Thing is I seem to recall that morrowind keeps it balanced that the armor will affect my spell casting but I can't remember.

There's no penalty for wearing armor but if your character isn't used to it, the armor won't provide much protection at all. You could pay for some training though, if you really like that dwemer piece.

Eh I think I'll just fully train on my magicka and rely on spells that protect me ;3 ty

i some times make a mage with heavy armor, like these roge npc mages, wich are hard to kill, because beneath robes they have heavy armor :D

Yeah but I think for us majority of mages like the proper experience without heavy armor and all robes beneath ;)

Nothing wrong with armor. It doesn't affect your magic. But it does affect your weight, so if you want to wear a set of daedric armor you can't use your strength as a dump stat anymore.
