The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Gamespy is gone, mods gone under.
Gamespy just went under, and so did all the mods for morrowind under their PlanetElderScrolls mod.

While it is now harder to search for all the mods, I have found two sites that really help with this.

BTB's Morriwind Mod List[btb2.free.fr]

NexusMods Morrowind Mods Search Results[www.nexusmods.com]

Please note that nexusmods does require a paid login, but asyou only need $1.50, I'm pretty sure that is an okay amount considering you also have access to Oblivion and Skyrim as well.

BTB also has Oblivion and Skyrim recommended mods list as well, so you can search his site for those. He also modifies all the mods (that he can anyways) to work in conjuction with each other mod on the list. So getting his edited versions are a bonus. He also dictates recommended features of each mod, albiet comically.

I did't knew about BTB. Thank you.

FilePlanet... Elricm... now this. It's a shame we have lost so many good Morrowind Mods sites. Fortunatly Morrowind Modding History [mw.modhistory.com] ,by the Great House Fliggerty guys, have most of those mods. It's a little messy, but is the biggest mod site.

There are also a lot of modders that prefers to use their own site. I recommend you to check the official forums -> http://forums.bethsoft.com/forum/86-iii-morrowind/

With MMH, Nexus and the official forums you should be able to find almost everything. Unless is an adult mod or have copyright issues. If that's the case http://wolflore.net has a couple of adult mods and using Google Translator you can also check http://tesall.ru/files/category/130-mody-dlya-morrowind/

RIP Planet Elder Scrolls. You weren't perfect, but modding won't be same without you.

Nexus mods requires free membership. Paid login only lets you access faster download servers, disables ads etc.

Sad news. I just came here hoping to start up a new game of Morrowind after all these years, only to find that the primary site for mods is no more.

So, anyone happen to know where I might find the "Sixth House" mod? I feel like I've checked everywhere with no luck.
Um, Nexus does not require a paid login, I've used it for years and havent paid a dime

Yeah, sorry. Somehow I missed that in your first post. Silly me. I was able to find it there, though. Thanks for the help!

My favorite mod list is Gluby's Guide to a Modded Morrowind. Just bear in mind that almost all of the links link to Planet Elder Scrolls, so you'll likely have to do some Googling to actually track down the mods. This doesn't stop it from being an exceptional resource, however.

Oh, how I wished for Gluby to complete that guide. Still, it's my favorite too.

Odd, considering that it wouldn't let me create an account without paying at least the smallest fee (the one at the very bottom). But a $1.50 fee isn't much so I'm too worried about anything.

You know where you have the option to select your membership and how much each one costs? Select none of them and just press next.

Gamespy hasn't been the "primary site for mods" for a couple years.

(News: New Mods: Last update 2012)

Mostly everything (newer) is being put up at Nexus now, older and no longer maintained stuff can usually be found at Modding History.

This made me really sad, glad to see my Horror mod still exists on some sites like http://mw.modhistory.com.

PES was already unavailable for the moderators out there. MMH has been set up for over a couple of years now. There you can find alot of the most that was hosted on PES and also elricm, such as those from kathryn and tommykhajiit (kat's kastle for example) Speaking about kathryn; her forum is gone as well, kat's korner that was.
And yes, some mods can be found at the own places of the modmakers. And as stated earlier: the nexus is free to use. No need to pay for an account. Now i have already an account from the period when it still was called tessource, but i don't think they changed it.
