Now Imperial guild haves a lot of quests but it will be a lot more fighting, on the end you can get Lords Mail very cool looking armor( and strong)
And Bloodmoon should be the first DLC you should play (but first level your character a litlle bit) it's very interesting and it haves a replay valye because there is one choise that changes the quest. And you can become a fricking werewolf that is much more cooler than one in Skyrim.
There are my advices and i heard that best house is Haalau, i think because you can get lot of reputation.
1. Main story line - has a lot of depth to it, and a lot going on. Depending on your gamestyle it may be very interesting and immersive, or something you put aside when pursuing objectives without giving them any thought.
2. Guild questlines - Unlike Oblivion or Skyrim, guilds are not main story in the miniature version. You do not save the world by joining a guild, you become member of the guild. Mainly you will just fullfil jobs there, beliving more or less in their cause. It's important to note however, that these jobs are often related to weakening or destroying enemy guilds (so it's good to think your choices of alliances well)
3. Both Bloodmoon and Tribunal expansions are perfect if you like the big stuff going on. Interesting plot, though not necesarly clear right of the bat, and a LOT of action (Saving worlds included - well to some extent at least.)
Tribunal is for players knowing what they do (lots of dungeon, traps etc.) and i always tell people to start it with level 12-15
