Need some help as mage
Hello, im playing as a Spellsword but have the problem that i only got 115 magicka with 77 intelligence.
Also im working for the telvanni but didnt know that alteration/mysticism is important for them because of levitation so i have to sleep 3 times or more to get to my quest because my levitation got like 14 % success rate -_-
Any idea where i can train mysticism ? And no i dont mean for 100k gold.
i already thought about exploiting via reduce mysticism attribute to like 1 and training but i dont even find 1 spell that can reduce the attributes [already checked most of the mage guilds and telvanni]
btw yes i do own the game but as a retail version and cant activate it on steam.

Well if you want to use mods, there are some that give you Oblivion-style magicka regen and there's one to give you leveled magicka. I like those for a mage build. Makes it much more practical.

As for training mysticism on the cheap.... best way is to just spam one of its spells. You can try getting detect animal, go some where with several non-hostile animals, such as the netch farm just northwest of Vivec, and spam it there. You'll level the skill reasonably fast with that. Obviously you'll need either a lot of magicka regen potions to make this work, or a regen mod.

You should make restore magicka potions. One you have 50+ alchemy and a mid-range alchemy set you can make potions that will restore 50-75 magicka over their duration. Then go to the Mage's guild in Balmora. They have people who can train mysticism for a fee, or you can make a levitate for 1 second spell and cast that over and over for skill ups.

Either make or buy a Mystcism spell that you can eaisly cast and tran using that or just pay for the training. There is virtually nothing you will ever spend all your money on so thats usualy what people do.

There is a ring that has a constant effect fortify intelligence enchantment in a tomb on the Bitter Coast just west of Seyda Neen. Shouldn't be hard to find, just start off west from town, following the coast, can't miss it. That is if you didn't already find it. It's one the better rings that have constant effect fortify intelligence. Mentor's Ring I think it's called.
