Also when conjuration gets to good levels, then look at atronach summons, specially Frost, he can block any doorway or entrance in dungeons, gives you lots of time to reorganise yourself.
Short sword is a great weapon when you have enough into the skill, as far as I am concerned much better than big, heavy weapons, purely down to the speed.
This character won't go far into magic outside bound dagger and a bit of mysticism for flavor.
Nord born Atronach has a bit of a hard time using magic big time.
But yeah the faster weapons can stunlock for days.
I love playing Battle Mages (Nord or Altmer) Use a little alchemy - ash yam + bloat to increase int and thus amount of magicka during battle.
Have a Summon Ancestral Ghost - in between battles summon and attack it with bare fists it will attack you and replenish your magicka.
at that point you might as well use the console to give yourself cheat stats or mod regenerating magicka, just to stop you from the goofiness of punching ghosts
I have not suggested any "goofiness" or "cheats", I would not even suggest the int "glitch".
So using good alchemy skills can boost int so therefore magicka. Using the Ancestral Ghost, Shrines etc are not glitches or cheats but part of the game to help those who choose Atronach sign.
So read and understand what I write first before making a wrong judgement!!
Idk if I'm abusing a meta but it was hilarious chugging alcohol and energy drinks and just stab the leader to death in a vengeful berserk while he could kill me in 3 shots but couldn't get them off while he was getting shanked to death.
The brotherhood get much harder at higher levels cus their daggers are all glass and ebony with enchantments on them as opposed to iron ones with enchantment at lower levels. The goblins in the sewers for the next quests are gonna be what get ya
Yeah I got lucky with the Goblins at the beginning with my Crossbow, but after the Dilborn quest and getting tag teamed by Gobbos I decided to go back to Vvardenfell to get a bit more base game gear now that I'm already quite OP for it.
