How do people jump so high with Icarian flight?

When I watch speedrunners or other videos people go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FLYING so high that the fog covers their screen. How do people do this?

Just use the scroll and jump, make sure you're running when you jump.

Your encumbrance affects jump height greatly, so if you jump with 90% of a full load vs jumping with 10% of a full load, you will have drastically different results when you're talking about a 1000 point increase in acrobatics.
