Thanks! :)
A quick, maybe stupid question. If I just now discovered most of these mods, can I add them to my current playthrough? Or must I start another character to avoid issues? Thanks
I know Illuminated Order and Scourge of the Lich Father work with existing saves, I haven't tried any of the rest of them yet though. They'll usually say in the description of the mod if you do need to do it with a fresh save.
You can add them to your current playthrough, but only if you are using both the Morrowind Code Patch (in particular make sure that the component "Savegame corruption fix" is selected) and Wrye Mash (in particular make sure to use the option to synchronize the loading list and that your savegame is shown as "purple" in Wrye Mash).
This is necessary to avoid issues like "doubling" ( http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes3Mod:Doubling ), that may or may not cause all kind of weird bugs, including disappearing objects (e.g. doors or NPCs) and crashes that may prevent you from playing at all.
Aye, you can install any of them at any point, though it should be noted that, in the case of Lothavor's Legacy, once you start the quest you're stuck on the island until you finish the quest, so it can be disruptive to a playthrough somewhat. It's also possible some of these mods could conflict with mods that you have installed already, particularly Morrowind Rebirth.
Other than that, as Erg mentioned, you'll probably want to go through and update your save with Wrye Mash, and also clean the mods of dirty references with a program like TES3CMD.
If you don't know how to use those programs, no worries, we've actually got another video that's an all-in-one tutorial on how to install mods:
