killed crazy batou randomly???? prophecy is doomed? is it worth doing the actual quest or not

so i found the maren tomb went inside killed everything including crazy batou is he part of any interesting quest or do i just go back and kill him again asking cuz its my first tie and if its a fun quest i dont wanna miss out

He is just loco..haha and has a lot of spells to hand.
But from wiki....no problem.

If the Nerevarine kills him, they will get a message that Batou is essential and the game must be reloaded. This is incorrect, however, as Batou plays no part in any questlines, and there should be no worries about killing him.

No, it doesn't. There are no quests linked to him, and he's not a part of anything else in the game; he's just there. According to UESP, he was either part of a quest that was cut before release, or said quest was never included in the first place. With most of the Essential NPCs, killing them breaks the main quest; not so with Crazy Batou.

Yeah it's very much possible that crazy batou is the Savior of the universe in a future game. Not conclusive evidence it's a bug. Even the wiki makes it clear that they don't know the intention of him being flagged as part of the thread of prophecy.
