How do I use a scroll?

I can only seem to open one and see the magic words but I can't seem to ever be able to use one. I've also tried to drop it into F1 but I still just get the scroll that comes up with words but no use. I have a ton of scrolls now too.

To equip a Scroll, press the Menu button (right mouse button by default) to bring up the Menus. Switch to the Magika menu, then find the scroll you wish to use under the list of Magic Items, then click on it. The scroll is now equipped and an icon for the scroll will show in the right of the two icons in the lower left.

To use the scroll, Press the Ready Magika button (R by default) then click the Use button (left mouse button by default). This will cast the spell and the scroll will disappear from your inventory. If you only had one scroll of that type, then the Magika icon will be empty until another magic is selected.
