Will it run on Windows 10? [SOLVED}
NEW QUESTION [SOLVED}: Will it run on Windows 10? I've heard it runs, but it can't go fullscreen.

OLD QUESTION [SOLVED]: So I've been thinking about getting Morrowind, as I'm new to RPGs and I've heard wonderful things about the third installment of the Elder Scroll series. I understand that Morrowind is a fairly old title (in the perspective of gaming and how games progress), but just because a game is old doesn't necessarily mean that it will be a less demanding title.
This is essentially just a quick check. Will my computer be able to run Morrowind at a decent (I consider 30-60 FPS decent) framerate? How will it handle mods such as Morrowind Rebirth or other graphical enhancement mods? I just want to make sure my computer can handle the game, I don't want to have it crash in the first five minutes. Thanks to any who respond!

MAIN PC SPECS (I can add other things such as the motherboard if needed)

CPU: Intel Core i3-4360
GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX 750

You should be just fine, even with mods. A 750 is considerably more powerful than an Xbox 360 GPU and a 360 can run Oblivion, which is much more demanding than Morrowind.

That's what I thought. Sweet! Thanks!

try without mods at first as rebirth turns morowind into almost a new game . some mods seem vital to me ie better bodies and better faces whilst others are pointless imo . fantastic game tho , better than most new games and will run on windows 7 and 8

Can I run it on Windows 10? I've heard that you can launch it but it just doesn't go fullscreen.

I'm also wondering - are there any compatibility issues with Windows 7? I would like to know before buying. Thanks.

From what I can tell, no.

I have not run into any issues running it on Windows 10, other than needing to turn off steam overlay and it not going full screen.

The thing is that I just now found my Morrowind disks (from 2002), and tried to install it on my Windows 7 PC. I'm getting all sorts of weird errors when I try to run the game.

I was thinking of buying the Steam version anyway, but if it's going to be the same issue, then I'm not going to bother.

Can confirm it does run on windows 10. It has a few hiccups however. In my game the fullscreen mode doesn't work entirely. The game still has borders around it. I found a easy fix though. Once in the game change your resolution to something higher or lower then change it back to the resolution you want and it should get rid of the borders.

I have had no issues with the disk version on win 7/8.1.

I decided to go ahead and buy it. Steam version works perfectly! :steamhappy:

That's good to hear. I have no idea why the disk version wouldn't work unless it got corrupted some how or something.

But can you play fullscreen? I just can't stand windowed gaming. Specially not in rpgs.
