The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

How do you get Morrowind to work on Steam Deck?
I already plan on installing OpenMW, but what else is needed?

P.S. I downloaded OpenMW and it works great 👍🏻. Thanks for all the replies.

IMO the easiest way is if you already have protonup installed. Use it to install the runner luxtorpeda and set it as the compatibility tool. . luxtopreda will install openmw for you. It also does daggerfall unity and a bunch of other games.

Here is the list of supported titles.

It even says not to use Luxtorpetta, OpenMW works fine as it is.....
Thank you 👍🏻. I am enjoying the OpenMW version a lot.

openMW is foss which means the app is required to be Unix compliant there is nothing else needed to install it or run it, it should be pretty turnkey and run nativly on anything.

luxtorpetta is for steam games where luxtorpetta does not apply to OpenMW because its a software that is not defined by steam.

Luxtorpetta overall runs far worse than OpenMW and doesn't include any of its settings or gameplay tweaks. OpenMW will work just fine

Luxtorpeda installs openMW. As well as other builds like openMW with zesters shaders. So I am not sure what you're saying.

Incorrect and wrong, multiple guide videos will show you a difference between performance. You're lying or just can't read
