I had great fun as a redguard fighter who idolised the Imperial Legion as a child, a DIY barbarian, part Conan, part Groo, and as a pure spellcaster who was no stranger to intrigues and possibly a bit of necromancy when noone was looking.
For goofing around, someone who will be trained to master pretty much everything.
Current char is a goofer. Ffawrhyinnsey, a nord who, as a toddler found in the wilderness, was taken into the household and raised by an elderly high elf who taught him how to read and who peaked his interest in magic. Just messing around with him, minmaxing the hell out of him.
Another jester is Abraca Dabra, a high elf I plan on making the most powerful sorcerer the world has ever seen. Physically weak but he has no time for going to the gym. Too much to study for that.
Anyway, pure mages are fun, but so are hybrid mage/warriors.
My 3 favourite factions are temple, telvanni and imperial legion. A hybrid warrior mage would be able to do all 3.
Pick a weapon or two (short blade and blunt for staves compliment pure mages well, but spear or long blade will complement a warrior mage hybrid well). Pick an armour type (medium is pretty decent for a hybrid build and the temple gives you a super legendary medium armour at the end), and then some magic schools. Pretty much all of them except illusion will complement a hybrid build well.
I don't think I have any of this ahah.
I'm trying to get back to civilization. but those damn cliff racers....
Ill check it out. I could use ToggleGodMode in very last resort.
near the shore, north of the camp. I used levitation to go over the mountain coming from Balmora, where there's a big broken structure close to the camp.
Now I can't find my way back to the south because I don't have any levitate potion anymore to go over that same mountain and with that sand storm and all I don't know where to go and I keep getting killed. damn I love that game ahaha
Ya that's where I wanted to go also. I had the city discovered already while messing around with the strider. It seems to be on the other side of the mountain which I don't know how to cross. I tried going there swimming at the north end of the island but I keep getting killed by fish ahaha
I do have a couple of ideas. Playing a curator/scholar/archaeologist who I'm using to explore more and read books a more laid back build, while keeping my main character tiptoing to the end of the main quest. Also want to pull out a monk even though they're kind of bad in this game and of course have to full immerse myself as a thief. And maybe a morally aligned good character.
