The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Exploiting Enchanting
The abuse of magic came naturally to me, find a way to bolster you Intelligence to ungodly levels with usually alchemy, and boom, nothing is uncastable.

And I've heard tales of enchantments with the same game breaking power, but I've never been able to figure out how that works.

I've put all my skills and attributes preposterous levels, I've used all sorts of fantastic souls in the best of gems, but there seems to be a hard cap.
There are of course plenty of very useful and sort of game breaking things to do with enchantments, but I want MORE

Define MORE

There is hard cap for enchantings that is defined by the capacity of the item you want to enchant.
Nothing short of mods is going to help with that, I am afraid.

You can combine enchantments so an outfit gives you 100% of effects like Reflect, Chameleon. Or provides an absurdly high Restore Heath so you can be a daywalking vampire. That said, I'm usually high level with the spell to summon Golden Saints. Their souls are ideal for enchanting.

Heck, just a ring of Invisibility can be pretty useful. Remove and put back on to renew the effect when it wears off (like when you attack). I use one of these when doing the Bloodmoon expansion.

Yes, that cap is what I was referring to.
Essentially I was curious if a ring or something could perma summon a dremora or something.

Exquisite jewelry is the stuff with the highest enchantment cap in general.

Then daedric tower shield has the highest enchant that can perma summon stuff. But beware of perma summoning, if you do, they don't follow you through doors. And then they stay on that side until 3 in game days pass, and then it crashes your save.

Perma summoning is not a good idea

Don't know if it is because of a patch but I;ve never had a problem with perma summons. You can also just take the item off for a moment and put it back on to resummon your friend close to you

Yeah don’t perma summon stuff , just introduces a swathe of ways for the game to crash lol.

Enchanting has a power ceiling unlike Alchemy, so it’s not as capable of ‘breaking the game’ as Alchemy is. But, you can still do a lot of overpowered crap with Enchanting, and it’s not ‘that’ difficult to make super powerful items yourself with fortify skill spells/equipment.

Probably the silliest constant effect stuff you can make is perma 100% chameleon , but it’s Cast When Used items where it arguably becomes game breaking. A pair of Cast When Used exquisite rings with 100 points of Weakness to Magic + Weakness to Fire + Fire Damage in a giant radius, can be used alternately & the damage stacks exponentially … and so deal enough damage to kill Vivec in a matter of seconds. And can be made within an hour or so of starting the game if you know where to go and what to get.

Probably a good idea to use Resist X equipment before using rings like this against opponents with Reflect, else you’ll end up dead instead!

Well, shucks.
For the record I had a ring that perma summoned an ancestor ghost and it never gave me trouble.
The most successful I've gotten is multiple reflect or shield enchantments all over me, basically walk around untouchable.

The game can't handle that much CHIM. Bethesda's code would fall apart.

As long as you resummon before 3 days are up, you'll be fine, but if you don't and forget about it you can crash your game

Don't forget that enchanted items have no cast time in vanilla morrowind. Even a bunch of lowly 10 gold pieces fireball rings can be quick-fired like semi-automatic weapons. So try making 10 powerful rings, quickbind them, and just go nuts.

A long dusty road this is.

The game is more fun with limitations.
