The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Ordinators won't stop attacking
To summarize it
- I spammed 100% Chameleon and Open spells to break into the Hlaalu Vaults in Vivec
- I stole the Glass armor and everything I found worthwhile in the chests
- I got expelled from the Temple (second time, so no making amends), racked up well over 100k in bounty and, obviously, got the death warrant
- Every Ordinator in the room proceed to try their best to kill me (impossible, literally immortal through potion exploiting)
- Escaped, got the bounty off my head through the Thieves Guild
- Ordinators still wanting my head everywhere except the exteriors of Vivec
- Look online for a solution, the only one (besides console commands) was Larrius's Cammona Tong bloodbath
- Do the quest, didn't help at all

So now, every Ordinator I see automatically engages in combat upon spotting me. The only exception to this are the Ordinator's standing around the Temple canton. Keep in mind, I'm talking about the exterior ones, I haven't check inside the Temple canton yet.

To be fair, the only places with Ordinators I've been to since this started are the Ghostgate, Molag Mar and Vivec. Also this only affects Ordinators, normal guards are fine.

Am I just completely screwed? Well screwed is the wrong term, since I can definitely survive them, but you know what I mean. Am I just going to have to deal with every Ordinator I run into trying to kill me?

Sorry if this was a bit incomprehensible. I don't really know how to properly explain such a bizarre and seemingly unsolvable issue.

I should mention that I'm aware that getting the bounty off my head through the Thieves Guild was not gonna help with the death warrant. I didn't know it at the time, but I discovered it after looking for a solution online (the solution that didn't work).

your joking RIGHT? ? ? After doing everything you mention did you really think that you would not get what you deserve ? Well ya got all the stuff you have to do to win that still needs to be done. I think your just one of them players who do something there way and are bored with just playing a game the right way instead of doing something off the wall. I admire your "doing things a little different" in a 20 yr old game, but then it takes all kinds of people to do things a little different.......I do wish ya luck and DO keep us posted:KneelingBow:

Once you get that death warrant it never leaves.

Similarly if you wear the Indoril helm or cuirass and talk to any Ordinator even once, they will never stop.

DId you talk to an Orinator while wearing their armor? if so you got put on their hate list.
afaik there's no way out of it other than mods/ console commands.

I did not. All I did was raid the Hlaalu Vaults.

It'd be weird if they were, seeing as I already became the Grandmaster.

OMG!!!! Early in my current game I found a dead guard and equipped all except for the grieves. MUST BE PDL (pure dumb luck) that I haven't talked to a Ordinator.one:KneelingBow::steamhappy:

How to break Morrowind: do what OP did.

Seriously, OP, I see only two possible ways out of your situation. The first is to load a save from before you started doing this, if possible. If it's not possible, start a new game. By this point, I don't think any other methods will work.

Only the helm and cuirass are part of it. If you're wearing any other piece of Indoril armor and you talk to an Ordinator, they don't care. But wearing the Indoril helm or Indoril armor and talk to them? That's an insult that they can't let stand.
Okay so brief update for the hell of it.

So far, the only exceptions to this are, again, the Ordinators on the Temple canton's exterior, but also the ones (or just the one singular) in the High Fane, every other Ordinator in existence is still trying to clap my cheeks. Why are these the exceptions? My only guess is because they seem to be completely stationary, so they might be coded differently. Just a dumb guess.

Yeah I've done too much since this started to even consider loading. Plus, even though I'm complaining, it's more of an annoyance than an actual problem. I can seemingly even kill them without consequences, judging by how I killed one in the middle of the Foreign Quarter Plaza and didn't get a bounty or a notification of my crimes being reported.

Suspect it might be because the ones on the outside were chasing you at some point, where as the ones at the temple weren't.

If they're attacking first, then it's self defence.

I know how to fix it with the console but I don't help criminal scumbags. The Ordinators are there for a reason. How about just submit to the justice you so richly deserve?
