are you asking how you get a mod for a completely different game to work with morrowind?
however it does not mean that a mod is instantly made.
they would have to mod every single cell separately while using this fancy new software in order to get a functioning mod for morrowind. software which is, as far as i am aware, not yet available to the public.
i could be wrong about this though, but the dutch version of the nvidia website shows a form where i can sign up for a newsletter about the software, it does not show me any download links, so i am guessing that it is not available yet.
now there is a portal mod available which was created using this software. it will however only work for portal. they might make one for morrowind as well but until this day there has been no official news about it. personally i doubt that they will actually do that. as i said, it would require them to manually go over every single cell in this game, it would be a huge task. making a portal mod, a game which has limited walking space in hallways, is much much easier to do.
in the end the portal mod and these videos are part of the marketing of nvidia, they used the software which they are developing to make this mod.
creating mods such as the portal mod will require a GeForce RTX video card, so the purpose of releasing these mods is to generate interest in their video cards. it is a marketing tool.
"If you put the files from the new Portal RTX DLC/Mod into morrowind"
again, the portal mod is not designed for that.
even if there is some code left from the showcase (which in itself would be idiotic), than clearly it does not contain everything to make a fully functional mod for morrowind. without them releasing a morrowind specific mod or access to the software which is required to develop mods like this it is unlikely that the community can do anything.
the solution is simple: do not put the portal mod in morrowinds folders.
have patience and wait until someone makes a fully functional mod for morrowind. this could either be the people at nvidia or the modding community once the development tools have been released.
"IT DOESN'T WORK IMMEDIATELY SO YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN TRY"
next up: the continuation of OP's low effort troll attempt, calling others a troll who are actually trying to explain things. i could respond but op will only post more low effort troll posts.
@OP, if you are going to troll than at least put in a bit more effort and make the troll attempts a bit more entertaining, that way people are more willing to go along with it just for entertainments sake.
have a nice day everyone!
"Here's a solution: don't do it. Also, I'm not a troll"
???
Leaving it here in case anyone is interested
