Any help on how I'm supposed to progress here? I cant make the jump across the pit of lava and my lockpick skill isnt high enough to unlock the level 32 door on the bottom floor. Am I boned or is there some secret door somewhere that I'm missing? Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm assuming you're doing the "Dwemer Puzzle Cube" quest for Hasphat Antabolis as part of the main quest. You don't need to go past the lava. The cube is much earlier in the ruin. On the other side of the lava is just a chest with random loot. If you really want to cross the lava, buy a levitate potion or spell.

As for the door, if you bring the cube back to Antabolis, he'll tell you to come back in a day. When you do, he gives you the key to the door on the bottom floor.
