The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Help: Extreme Saveing Issues!
Hello, I am playing Morrowind on the retail version of the game and I am haveing a long line of proplems when it comes to trying to save/quicksave my game.

First what happened was that I got thethis error every time I tried to save over my three save files:

"Unable to complete operation due to failiure removing previouse file. temp file remains"

so then I make an new save file and I quit morrowind and delete old files (includeing autosave file). After reloading on new save file, however, strange things occur:

1: I still get the same error after trying to save on new file
2: I cant see the new file in my saves folder at all!
3: I also cant quicksave, in which after waiting in game I get the message "an error was encountered while saveing the game".

I have also heard of similar things happening to windows 7 users. However I use win10. Please reply with possible solutions and advice, that you in advance.

I forgot to mention that Im useing Morrowind Overhaul mod. That also means that I really would hate reinstalling it, because intalling it was a colossal pain the begin with, Therefore it is my last resort only.

Not really used to Win10, but it does seem like an authorization problem. Did you install the game in a well-protected place like the Program Files folder or something like that? That could be the problem.

Also, try running the game as Admin.
Solved! I was haveing the win 7 problem after all!
there was also a saves folder in C:->users->name->AppData->Local->VirtualStore->Program Files(x86)->Besesda Softworks->Morrowind
There it was full of alternate versions of my other saves in .tes form and the rest(including my new saves) also in .ess form. I then took that folder, junked the old folder in my regular directory, and replaced it.
Now it all seems to work. So may it now be know that this can also happen to win10 users and not just Windows vista/7.
But also thanks for you sudgestions guys^
Oh and I also junked the old files and the .tes files.
