Fps drop
Hello everyone
Here is my problem : The fps drop after few steps, for a very little moment, like a mini freeze, then it's come back to normal, and after few steps, again a fps drop. Actually it's like go ahead with micro freezes all 10 meters. That sucks.

I tried to :
-Re-install the game.
-change display depth, resolution, windowed/full screen
-change compatibility modes
-set priority high in manager tasks(with only one processor selected)
-apply FPS optimizer, 4gb patch, code patch
-even installed other versions of the game (disc goty, disc original), and still the same problem.

All these above change nothing. Problem is still there. My pc run without any problem games like Elden Ring, Red Dead Redemption 2 or Witcher 3 for example, and even Oblivion and Skyrim special edition work very good.

I thank you per advance for your help, i ran out of ideas to solve this thing 🙂.

Specs?

Have you tried to run on OpenMW with the improved resolution and graobics tweaks?

Try to meddle with sound drivers\codecs. May be dx.

Thank you ! With OpenMW it's much better ! By changing graphic settings, the game runs better. The problem has not disapeared totally, but i'll try with various settings, it should be OK, even if it's already rather quite good.

This tool is really useful.

Press f3 or f4(dont remember) couple of times it will open different graphs, check them, may be you will see whats the problem

It is F3 that brings up those graphs. These jitters the OP reports are a known issue with TES3 and are one of the issues that OpenMW is trying to fix. Among the issues with OpenMW that you should know are:
1-Shadows and distant land in OpenMW work but are still being polished and may have bugs
2-Shaders from MGE are being added and may have bugs (they are not exactly MGE as it is DirectX and OpenMW is OpenGL)
3-These issues will be fixed in future releases

Finally I will say that as long as you just use OpenMW and stay away from what is newest you will be fine (Normals and speculars work fine).

Thank you, with F3 i can see some graphs; the GPU and Draw lines can jump or down, but it's quite rare, most often, the game runs good.
