if it doesn't work you could also try the placeatpc command... it goes something like this:
PlaceAtPC, [ObjectID], [Count], [Distance], [Direction]
PlaceAtPC "caius cosades",1,1,1 SHOULD spawn your own little caius cosades right in front of you!
But this begs the question, how on Nirn did you not see the message saying "you killed a major character, so either reload an earlier save, or continue in this hell you created"?
sorry I never really killed any major character unless just for fun, and then always reloaded an earilier save, so I don't know any other way this could be solved... I guess if you're not too far ahead into the game, you could just restart
And yeah, you can kill everyone in Morrowind, although if you kill a character that is required to live in order to complete the MAIN questline (like Caius Cosades) then you will get a message saying that you probably shouldn't have done that and you may want to reload your game.
You can start a new game. Morrowind has tons of replay potential.
Generally when you see a message saying something like 'with this character's death the thread of the prophecy is broken. Load a save or continue in the doomed world you have created' in Morrowind, if you want to keep following the questline load your save.
Word of advice; If you lack the attention span to read things even basic stuff like say the name of the npc you are about to hit, then this game is really not for you, and the walls of texts that you will need to read sometimes will just end up frustrating you.
If you wanna do the alternative path and ignore my tip, you have to kill vivec, take the gauntlet, go to yagum bagarn, go fetch keening & sunder, go to the end boss.
