I have a lot more interest in stuff like beyond skyrim or Project Tamriel and Tamriel rebuilt where they add the other provinces but its not just the same game everyones played. on that Note you have skyrim home of the nords for morrowind. its skyrim but its actually unique and fits morrowind rather than a cheap rehash.
biggest issue with the game that had me pissed off.
the last 2 blades want to kill the founder of the blades, parthunax
i was so irritated that it felt forced, so i just disabled both of them from existence

But the OP wanted to know about making Skyrim not only in Morrowinds engine but with the same dynamics, open world, atmosphere, amazing dialogue etc.
Why do people keep suggesting Skywind or skyoblivion?
I have been tempted lately to try Tamriel Rebuilt, but that is because I know it was started before even Morrowind was released and wants to fulfill the original developers dreams of what Morrowind was first going to be.
But then again that is Morrowind and not what the OP was asking.
