besides that, there really is not a single thing for maxing out any guild
no reward, notability, at all.
guess running around in robes might be the tops
There are a few that have some additional quests after the main story is finished, but no daily or weekly tasks/quests like in Oblivion or Skyrim.
Maybe do the main quest line. Immerse in the Lore maybe?
Plenty of stuff to go and do you make it sound like you have done the game already like its a race to the finish line or something this ain't World of Warcraft.
"During RoHT's main quest, the player will decide on House Telvanni's stance towards the Mages Guild and the Twin Lamps, infiltrate the East Empire Company, and shake Vvardenfell's politics to the core.
Most quests can be played in different styles. Depending on the player's decisions, House Telvanni will gain anything between one and four new strongholds. It is up to the player if House Telvanni rises to political predominance or passes up its opportunities.
RoHT also introduces some lore about the Telvanni and a chance to reclaim some ancient Telvanni artifacts."
I just installed a mod that increases blight storms and spreads their frequency across regions that normally don't have them and so on, to create some sense of urgency that leads me to believe anyone in Morrowind actually cares if I ever do the main quest.....
Worse still if you do not like "sandbox"/ "open world" games, then this game is not for you. So why do you keep playing it? What keeps you coming back?
i made my own mod, that tweaks the game just how i wanted it
reduced the weight of ingredients, apparatus, lockpicks, repair to 0
tweaked enchanting, to not suck, buffed birthsigns
changed all races base luck from 40 to 50
added "scaling" rng to alot of enemies
Made a custom script for a bell in the arena, to summon an enemy
new custom weapons, that can be picked up around the world,
They add a buff, but only can pick them up at 80-100 in an attribute
only mod i use is mine, and a retexture.
-https://openmw.org/downloads/ open mw better engine
Overhauls alot of the games issues, bugs, lag, and performance
https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/46221
Same vanilla textures, but upscaled, so nothing bad
my work in progress mod https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/50847/
just tweaking it whever
Well, since you know how to mod, why not create your own quests and adventures once you've "done everything"? Are you just lacking ideas?
These are some mods I've made for my game: custom mage tower, bounty hunters that chase you if you don't complete Caius' tasks, "the battle of Gnisis" ( bell in Gnisis that summons 10 guards and 10 stalkers, they just pile into each other in a huge battle. Highly entertaining, and you can ring the bell several times)...
Or just look on Morrowind Nexus for other people's quests. "The rise of House Telvanni" is number 1, as Slayor said. But hey, nothing stopping you from making a Rise of House Hlaluu or anything else.
Edit: also I like your mod :)
i was thinking of an "after" mod
designed for when you reach Grandmaster of any guild
adding dialogues to guildmates, that lets you send them on quests
Tribunal temple, east empire, and morag tong i also did
imperial legion, cult, telvanni and redoran i guess are left
many of the guilds conflict with eachother, so it takes multiple characters
i have an argonian, imperial, khajiit, and redguard
on the morag tong, there are the 27 threads, but doing every quest the guy gave, i only got 16/27
What keeps me coming back is that I have fond memories of enjoying Skyrim, which was also pretty solidly sandbox in nature (you could park the main quest forever and the dragon never really ate the world....), with a few exceptions (obviously doing any civil war quests would advance the game-state of the civil war, etc.)
I'm trying to pin down why I enjoyed Skyrim, but am having so much trouble getting into this game. So that's what keeps me coming back....solving that mystery.
I *think* I just need to get some head-canon going that gives me a sense of loyalty to the Empire and Caius' orders. Right now, I end up feeling like I want to chuck Caius' package into the sea and get enough money to book passage back to the mainland where I must have had *some* kind of life I was uprooted from when I was mysteriously thrown into prison....
But also, I'm struggling hard with the combat and economy in the game. I took the time to clear out the *very* first Dwemer ruin you get sent to for the main quest...lugging all that heavy crap back and forth to various vendors for days. And for my efforts, I am now pretty close to "set for life" already as far as money goes. Do 20 minutes of pearl diving up and down the coast, and you end up in the same situation. I always feel pretty OP by about lvl 10.
I have trouble keeping track of where anything is. Skyrim's map let you zoom in and out so you could have a clear idea of where things were in relation to each other. Morrowind's map isn't nearly as useful (thank God for the interactive map online, but still).
And the journal, which is a mix of rubbish entries that are meaningless and entries that are actual clues, is on my last nerve. ;)
I dunno...the completionist in me is worried I'll miss a side quest if I do the main quest first, but doing side quests and just exploring levels you so quickly that you feel OP doing the main quest.
Think you have a lot of money, try and enchant something powerful and see how much it costs, you may need it later, especially if going to Mournhold, makes the mainland seem like a kindrgarden. Level 10, the Daedra have not yet started on you.
There used to be a mod somewhere, which you could use to make your own journal.
Also there is a note taking option in Morrowind. So if inside a cave/ dungeon etc you can leave a note or directions for yourself. The land is huge and complicated, easy to get lost and lose track of everything. Part of the fun for an adventurer.
If you are a true completionist, oh dear, you could be looking at 400 hours or more, this is a large game and a lot of quests.(p.s I am not joking about how many hours).
If you try to do all the faction and side quests you may not end up completing all the main quest....lol. A few times I have ended up with a high enough reputation to skip a majority of the main quest and went straight to "end game".
I end up usually being loyal to Azura, the Dunmer and myself. I also hate having to kill Daguth-ur, since I blame myself for his situation. Imperial curs can all die and get out of my land!!!!
Seriously hope you find a way to enjoy it.
