The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Tamriel Rebuilt cannot load (FIXED)
Greetings all,

I'm getting at least 4 different error messages when I try to run Tamriel Rebuilt (see bold text below following three @@@). I really don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Here are the steps that I have done so far.

I'm using latest version of Morrowind from Steam (which I read was 1.6.1820). I downloaded "Tamriel Data" mod from https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44537 and "Tamriel Rebuilt" mod from https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42145. I extracted both .rar. Files inside "00 Core" folder of "Tamriel Data" were transferred to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Morrowind\Data Files\. Files inside "00 Core", "01 Faction Integration", "02 Preview Content", "03 Travel Network for Core and Vvardenfell", "03 Travel Network for Core, Preview, and Vvardenfell" and "04 Patch for Abot's Travels mode" folders of "Tamriel Rebuilt" were transferred to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Morrowind\Data Files\.

I then downloaded BSA Registration Utility from http://download.fliggerty.com/download--633 and put all of its files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Morrowind\. I ran "BSA Registration Utility.exe" and I managed to register "PT_Data.bsa" into morrowind.ini file. I opened morrowind.ini file and since "TR_Data.bsa" was not included in that file, I manually added it right after "PT_Data.bsa" entry. So the bottom of my morrowind.ini file looks like this:

[Archives]
Archive 0=Tribunal.bsa
Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa
Archive 2=PT_Data.bsa
Archive 3=TR_Data.bsa

I then downloaded "Morrowind Code Patch" mod from https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/19510. I extrated its .rar and copy-pasted its content to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Morrowind\. I doubled clicked "Morrowind Code Patch.exe" and inside the installer I checked "Map expansion (for Tamriel Rebuilt)". Then I clicked on "Apply chosen patches" and it installed the 4 Gb patch and all of MCP patches successfully (to MCP 2.4).

I tried running wrye-mash.exe (downloaded from http://download.fliggerty.com/download--141), after copy-pasting its ...\Wrye Mash\Mopy\Extras\Mashed List.esp file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Morrowind\Data Files\ and even if I check all .esp from "Tamriel Data" and "Tamriel Rebuilt" and right-click "Mashed List.esp" (inside Wrye Mash) then click on "import" and then on "Merged list", Wrye Mash says: "No lists required merging."

I launched Morrowind from Steam and in the next window inside the Morrowind Launcher, I clicked on "Data Files" and checked "Tamriel data.esm" and "TR_Mainland.esm" (all three Morrowind.esm, Tribunal.esm and Bloodmoon.esm were already checked and I let them checked") and clicked on "ok" to save these settings and then I exited the Morrowind Launcher.

I then downloaded "MGE XE" utility from https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/41102, I extracted it and pasted all of its content inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Morrowind\. I launched MGEXEgui.exe, clicked on "Distant land generator wizard" button, clicked on "use current load order" (so the 5 above .esm were selected) and clicked on "continue" and here comes the 1st error message type: (4 warnings)

@@@ - "Texture 'tr\Ind\tr_aj_rock_02.dds' in plugin 'c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\morrowind\data files\tamriel_data.esm' failed to load (Object reference not set to an instance of an object.)"
- "Texture 'tx_ma_sandstone02.tga' in plugin 'c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\morrowind\data files\tr_mainland.esm' failed to load (Object reference not set to an instance of an object.)"
- "Texture 'tx_lavacrust00.tga' in plugin 'c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\morrowind\data files\tr_mainland.esm' failed to load (Object reference not set to an instance of an object.)"
- "Texture 'tr\Ind\tr_aj_rock_02.dds' in plugin 'c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\morrowind\data files\tr_mainland.esm' failed to load (Object reference not set to an instance of an object.)"

I then continue to create the land texture and set both "World texture resolution" and "World normalmap resolution" to "8192", I set "World mesh detail" to "ultra high" and in the next tab I reduced "Minimum static size" to 100, set "Mesh detail level" to "Full" and "Distant texture reduction" to "None" and created statics. Then I get to edit options in the "land textures" tab and I set the "Draw distance" to "5 cells", checked "Dynamic ripples" and repeated the above process.

I then downloaded "mlox" utility from https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43001, extracted it and dropped its directory into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Morrowind\. I ran "mlox" and updated the load order to:

Morrowind.esm
Tribunal.esm
Bloodmoon.esm
Tamriel_Data.esm
TR_Mainland.esm

I booted Morrowind from Steam and before reaching Morrowind main menu, I get the following error message:

@@@ "Cell "Ebonhearth, Argoninan Mission" not found for dialog Topic Info "Empty" Continue loading?"
"Cell "Ebonhearth, Imperial Chapel" not found for dialog Topic Info "Empty" Continue loading?"

etc...

I clicked "yes" to all error message to continue the loading. I then loaded a save game with about 15 minutes of gameplay and with no buffs on the character and get the following error message before the save starts loading:

@@@ "Expression Error Unable to find cell Id "Mournhold" in script T_ScGlobal_LoopTR".

I click "ok" and Morrowind shuts down. The same happens if I try to start a new game.

While using mlox, I noticed the message that it display regarding installed mods and it said that "You are not running the highly recommended Morrowind Patch Project (MPP). It fixes quest bugs, spelling and grammar, corrects subtitles and mesh and texture errors; amongst other fixes. Whilst Bethesda's own patches fixed a couple of dozen bugs the MPP fixes hundreds" so I downloaded "Morrowind Patch Project (MPP) 1.2.2b by Thepal and Quorn" from https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43826, checked it under the Morrowind Launcher and ran again "MGE XE" utility, but I get even more error messages when booting Morrowing that way. I downloaded the update to "Tamriel Rebuilt" named "Tamriel Rebuilt 21.01 hotfix 1", added it through Morrowind Launcher, ran "MGE XE", with this load order suggested by "mlox":

Morrowind.esm
Tribunal.esm
Bloodmoon.esm
Morrowind Patch 1.2.2.esm
Tamriel_Data.esm
TR_Mainland.esm
TR_Mainland_2101_hotfix.ESP

and after booting Morrowind through Steam, I get the following error message translated:

@@@ "One or many plugin werent able to find the right version of the master file from which they depend. Some errors could happen during loadings or gameplay. Please check "warnings.txt" for more info. Continue the loading?"

after clicking "yes" (continue loading) to each error message and chosing to load a previous game, the game will crash while loading a save game. with an error message somehow similar to: "Expression Error Unable to find cell Id "Mournhold" in script T_ScGlobal_LoopTR".

Any help will be much appreciated,
Thanks in advance,

These error messages are due to Morrowind being installed (from Steam) in a language different from english. English developped Mods such as TR wont find the correct files names in a non-english Morrowind version. Revert the game to english and mods will work.
