Ahnassi disappeared and nothing I try is bringing her back. Any help?

Was talking to Ahnassi (the Khajiit in Pelagiad) and she simply disappeared. I've tried:

PlaceAtPC, "ahnassi", 1, 1, 1

I tried the other console command that puts her in her house in Pelagiad but no matter which way I typed it the console wouldn't recognise it.

Tried RA and TCL to search under the ground for her.

She's nowhere. She just disappeared completely. Anyone got anything else I can try? I want to do the quests she gives.

This should be the correct code to reposition her.
Ahnassi-> Position 402, -327, 639, 0, "Pelagiad, Ahnassi's House"

If she has fell through the floor she will be further North as well.
Seems to have been a common bug, some people had to resort to an earlier save.

Thanks, I'll give that one a try later when I get back home. If that doesn't work then I guess I'll just have to accept that she's gone because I don't have any earlier saves and I ain't throwing away 10 hours of progress to start again.

Nope, didn't work. The console accepted the command but she's not there. Also tried tcl after and checked all around (and above and below) the halfway house, she just ain't there. What a shame.

You could also try the reset actors command. Or positioncell command. If you already started ahnassis quests, then using placeatpc will make a copy of the npc but the quests will be wiped. Its better to use reset actors or positioncell in that case.

IMHO, RA is the best solution (when it works). Try running it both in the Halfway Tavern and in her house. (OP said they tried it, but not where.)

You could also try "twf" for wireframe mode. Combine with "tcl" for best results.

Also, just in case, when you input the command make sure that there are no spaces around "->".
This command, as written, is invalid (note the space between "->" and "Position"):

Ahnassi-> Position 402, -327, 639, 0, "Pelagiad, Ahnassi's House"

This one is valid:

Ahnassi->Position 402, -327, 639, 0, "Pelagiad, Ahnassi's House"

I tried all console commands but nothing works. I actually restarted the game (although I said I wouldn't) because as I got further in and fully understood how everything works I realised I had made a bad class when I created my character (chosen some useless skills) AND I had screwed up my levelling. So I restarted.

On this playthrough I've made sure to save my game before I enter the Halfway Tavern or Ahnassi's house. I've figured out some bug triggers that make her disappear if anyone is interested:

When she asks you to kill that Camona Tong guy who threatened her (the first quest she gives you) if you express concern but offer no commitment (AKA if you refuse the quest) she disappears and nothing will bring her back. She's just gone from the game completely, not under the floor or anywhere.

After she invites you in to her house, sleeping in her bed downstairs will make her disappear. Again, no console commands will bring her back and she's not clipped under the map anywhere, she's just gone from the game entirely.

So, as long as you accept her missions and don't sleep in her bed, everything should be fine.

So, refusing to help her makes her disappear. I guess it means the comona tong guy from the quest must have killed her. So its not a bug at all.

No no, she vanishes before your eyes the moment you click no. It's not like you say no, leave, then come back a few days later to find her gone. She literally just goes *poof*

Read on a forum sometime ago, the same problem, after asking and looking around he found her sleeping in another mans house. Lol.
