other gripes I have with the mod are having stores lock up at night, which is a thing in the later games and does make sense but it also messes with some quests and doesn't really work for morrowind in my opinion, since its not like the npcs go to sleep or anything at night anyway.
the main things I like about rebirth are the expansions to towns and cities, adding new buildings and merchants, new armor and weapons.
overall I would not recommend morrowind rebirth to new players or players who haven't fully experienced the vanilla game, it just removes too much of the fun/broken things in the game that make it great.
