Custom Control Layout keeps Resetting
I've been playing through the game for the first time and am loving it so far. One issue I had with the game when I first played it, was the default controls. As usual with any PC game where I don't like the default controls, I changed them. I'd play my short little session with my custom controls and have a good time. However, when I'm done playing the game and decide to to close it out, when I reboot the game back up for another plat session, the controls are remapped back to the default controls. It seems to not save my custom controls whenever I boot the game back up. It's been getting a tad bit annoying having to remap my controls every time I boot the game back up.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there a way to save my custom controls so I don't have to remap them every time I boot up the game?

I had the same problem, but much of the help on the internet wouldn't work. Just tried this on my machine and it works (for me):

1. Disable cloud syncing for Morrowind by right-clicking on the game in your Steam library, selecting Properties, clicking the Updates tab, and unchecking 'Enable Steam Cloud Synchronization...'
2. Run the launcher with or without Steam, and start the game.
3. Set your settings as you'd like them to be set.
4. Exit the game.
5. Re-enable cloud syncing for Morrowind.
6. Your settings should have remained.

Its a mixture of online help, i found running as 'administrator' as suggest in the help caused other issues.

I have the Same problem sometimes and i don't know why this happens. I think maybe the Launcher resets the Settings. When i start the Game with the Morrowind.exe or a different lauchner the settings stay.
