The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Easy to access DLC content?
Last time I played this (around 04ish) I was missing the expansions for the game. I've learned from previous experience that a lot of older games on new platforms can be poorly optimized.
I'm wondering if it's straightforward to have all the games content in-game from the start?

I'll probably buy it now if the answer is yes. Any information/advice appreciated. :lunar2019grinningpig:

All the DLC is integrated into the game from the start, as the version of Morrowind sold on Steam is the GOTYE version, which came with both DLCs. However, accessing them requires a little bit of in-game footwork. For Tribunal, you have to wait until you're attacked in your sleep by an assassin dressed all in black. That's the beginning of that particular DLC. Killing these guys at low level can be a pain, but it's worth it. Afterwords, talk to any guard, and they'll tell you to go to a specific city and talk to a specific guy. The second DLC, Bloodmoon, starts by going to any NPC and talking to them about "latest rumors". One of the very first things they'll mention is Fort Frostmoth, and how to get there.

The two main expansions, Bloodmoon and Tribunal, are included with the game on Steam.
The smaller content plugins are available here[en.uesp.net].
You can just download, unzip and place the plugin folder(s) in your Morrowind Data Files folder located in steamapps > common > Morrowind > Data Files.
