Is a dagger build worth?

Ive been trying to kill the poachers but my weapon breaks before i can kill them or they just dont die anyways. Should i just make a new character? My plan was to make a character that sneaks and uses enchanted daggers and heals

Get a better dagger.
Always have a second source of damage.
Consider going up the Marksman tree a bit and use throwing weapons, that would suit a sneak/ dagger user.
Throw weapons are hard to come by, but if you install one of Morrowinds DLC's it puts a merchant in Vivec which sells them all the time.

One of the advantages of daggers is their weight, my dagger character carried around 10 enchanted daggers and didn't have to worry about breaking one. Although I don't think I did break any, ever, so maybe you're using your daggers wrong.

im using a iron dagger and i stabbed the egg poachers over 20 times and i major in short blade

Shame you did not take conjuration or have it close to 40+, a conjured dagger is very powerful.
Also if you travel around to other places and check "pawnbrokers" stock you can sometimes find really nice daggers "broken" i.e take to smith and have repaired, very cheap.

Conjure Dagger is great in a pinch. There is also an easy early Daedric weapon you can find in Vivec. Look online if you want that spoiler

conjuration sounds great, but i mostly want to play enchanted daggers on my first playthrough, mostly because my issue with this game has always been making a character and also making 6 others i dont use so i never end up finishing the game.

As I mentioned about pawnbrokers there is a glass dagger (broken, so it is cheap), I believe it may be Suran, cannot fully remember. But you might be able to afford it and repair it.

ive looked around but havent found him, im only in balmora though so maybe i just missed it or its in a different city

sorry i thought that was the name of the shopkeeper, ill keep a lookout. For now i at least found out how repair hammers worked, so i was able to finish the egg poacher quest
