Spriggan soul-trapping bug?

Using a soul trap sword I just captured 2 souls from one spriggan. Is this normal or a bug? I am using OpenMW, and am wondering if this occurs with the vanilla engine also. Thank you in advance for any replies.

Just name it one thicc soul.

Yup. Later I tried for 3 and got them. Very powerful souls similar in strength to a winged twilight.

If you think that's strange, try hitting a target with several different soul-trap effects or custom spells/enchantments with multiple soul trap effects. I've been collecting up to 18 souls from each ogrim or goblin footsoldier using the default touch-range soul trap spell, a custom target-range soul trap, a custom 8x soul trap spell and an enchanted 8x soul trap sword.

wow! it definitely looks like a bug to be able to harvest multiple souls from a single foe still. but kudos to you for finding such a magnificent way to exploit it
