Help with making a restore health ring
Total noob here. Im playing as a vampire with multiple vampire mods, and one mod that i cannot for the life of me get to work is No Sun Damage. Well, I read somewhere that if you make a ring or amulet with restore health 5pts as a constant effect, you can completely negate sun damage. I would absolutely love to do this. But im completely lost on how to learn the effect, how to get the right soul gem, etc. Im perfectly fine with cheating in whatever i need. Im really desperate for help here, i cant find anything online to help me :(

Restore health effect is found on any guild or sanctuary.

For soul gems you have to grab the grand variety. It's found on any guild, as well.

Then you have to find a mage to enchant the item for you. Or do it yourself. But find a mage. The chance to fail with one is pretty much nil.

You learn enchanting and spellmaking effects by learning a spell with that effect. So for restore health a simple healing spell (from school Restoration) will do, for example Balyna's Soothing Balm or Mother's Kiss. Once you learn one of those spells, Restore Health will be available as an option in the Spellmaking and Enchantment window.
Here are merchants that offer spells with Restore Health effect and their location: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Restoration_Spells#Restore_Health

As for constant effect enchantment: only a few souls allow for constant effect enchantment and they all require a Grand Soul Gem, the highest tier soulgem, or Azura's Star. The soul in the gem also has to be above 400 value. The easiest way to get a minimum 400 soul is to summon a Golden Saint (from scrolls or a spell) and soultrap that.
Here's otherwise a list of souls and their soultrapping values: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Souls

And here's a list of where you can find a Grand Soul Gem (besides as random loot in more difficult dungeons): http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Soul_Gems#Grand_Soul_Gem

If you've never enchanted before, you should know that the Enchanting skill in Morrowind is very finicky. Even with a high level Enchanting skill, enchanting something yourself will very often fail (there are probably ways to get around that with massive fortify intelligence boosts, but I've never really done that so I couldn't tell you). A foolproof way to enchant items is to go to an enchanter (e.g. Galbedir in the top floor of Balmora's Mages Guild) and let them enchant an item for you, but it's VERY expensive for Constant Effect enchantments. (I would guess like over 10,000 gold expensive for the Constant restore health 5pts enchantment you want).

Another thing to keep in mind is the enchanting value of clothing, or basically how suitable it is to be enchanted. The better the quality of the clothing item, the better enchantments you can put on it. For constant effect enchantment, I think it's guaranteed you need the highest tier of clothing (for a ring, it's the Exquisite Ring that is worth 240 gold)
Here's a list of clothing items and their enchantment value:

You can experiment with it ingame, you will notice that lower level clothing won't allow you some enchantments, especially Constant Effect, like there's a limit on how high you can enchant an item.

Sorry I can't explain to you how it works exactly because I've been playing with the Morrowind Rebirth mod which completely rebalances the enchanting system, but with this basic info I think you can experiment in game and see how it goes.

You can also change the maximun enchantment limit in the construction set - your changes then behave like a mod. It's easy. Just make a backup of your save file first in case anything goes wrong.
