Egg Poacher Quest Bug

I have a quest for the Fighters Quild to kill 2 egg poachers in the Skulk Egg mine, I did that and I did not progress, I re-spawned them and killed them again and nothing as well. How do I progress???

I can't remember if the Journal updates that they have been killed, but if you killed them and return to talk to the quest giver, it should still complete.

The journal doesn't update if you've killed them, just when you get the quest and when you turn it in. If you've killed the egg poachers, that's all you need. Head back to Balmora and turn in the quest.

I did that, I still cannot return the quest

Then it sounds like you might have killed the wrong guys. The two guys you're sent after are named Sevilo Othan and Daynila Valas. They're hanging out in the Queen's Lair, which is the third zone of the Shulk Egg Mine. Did you go that far into the mine? You'll know if you find the poachers because they'll charge right at you, and they'll be carrying pickaxes.

They had their names, I even spawned them again and nothing happened. Quest is broken

Yep this quest is buggy i have had it happen multiple times on this quest, this is one of the many bugged quests in the game that always does this often. Make sure the quest actually activates in your journal after speaking to the quest giver.

Sometimes you can talk to the npc's to get quests but the journal won't update. So need to reload to earler or use console.

If save won't go earlier before quest then sometimes if you go back over the dialog with npcs the quest entrys will update even if you have completed the task/goal and then the quest will complete.

Does anyone know how I can use console commands to get forward in the quest?

Here's the console command you want: Journal, FG_Egg_Poachers, 100.

If you typed it in correctly, the command will turn blue and you'll see a journal update that you've turned the quest in.

F and G cannot be put into Morrowind console commands, it won't let me

If I had to guess, I would probaby say that the problem might be an undesired side effect of an illogic situation created by using the console (it's not fool-proof in this respect, and is more likely to happen the more the console is used). Just a guess.
To avoid quest bugs (and other issues) I'd also recommend to use the Morrowind Code Patch and the Patch For Purists.

Are you sure? Well, if this is the case, you have to choose what's more important for you.

omw has the same problem with those tow in-heat netches and there no reward lest xp for dealing with them. Think there a mod in nexus that adds or upgrades the Gnaar Mok Manor Patriarch to give you at least some money and stamina potions for dealing with the netches? Probably same with the Redgaurd Bandit chick with the Blind-Speed boots, albeit he gives you magicka resist potions ranging from 5-30%?
