Min/Maxing for max stats
Does anybody know if there's a guide or program that would tell you the max possible level and HP/MP/Stamina based on your race, class and sign (+10 skillups in one major or minor skill, +10 skillups in one misc skill and the 3rd point would possibly go to luck to get it to 100 to increase the level as high as possible). Considering I prefer melee I usually rush Endurance to 100 as soon as possible. And no I'm not using a pirated copy or the GoG version. I still own the physical copy of GoTY in the giant box from like '04 or '05 when I bought it.

Formula for Health: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Health
Formula for Magicka: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Spells#Spellcasting_Formulas
Formula for Fatigue: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Fatigue

There is no limit to the amount of health you can get. Maximum Magicka is capped at 250 without any cheats or fortify magicka effects. Maximum Fatigue is capped at 400.

Really? Magicka is capped at only 250 despite the Atronach sign giving 3x your intelligence? I know how Health works since it's 10% your Endurance each level. From what I can tell, to get 100 in all 8 attributes, you can only get to about lvl47 or 48, depending on what sign you choose.

Went back to uesp.net, max level is actually about 75 (least for the race/class combo I checked against.

If you don’t read lots of skill books near the end / bug the game out by levelling beyond the cap, then:

- The max level that a character can achieve is 78. This requires them to start with all their majors at 30 and minors at 15 however (and one major/Minor skill with +5 extra).

- Health is dictated by half your starting Strength/Endurance added together, and then Endurance/10 after that. If you started 60/60 str/end and then got +25 End from the Lady sign (, which doesn’t contribute to starting HP, and is possible with a Male Nord or Redguard), you’d start with 60 health and 85 Endurance. If you maxed Endurance to 100 ASAP, that’s 69 HP at 2 (90 En), 78 HP at 3 (95 En), 88 HP at 4 (100 En ie maxed), 128 HP at 8, and 828 HP at 78 (I.e. the max possible HP without breaking the game).

- Magicka is determined by Intelligence score and Fortify Maximum Magicka multipliers. Fortify Maximum Magicka should really read ‘Additional Maximum Magicka’, because that’s how it works. 1.5x FMM adds 150% extra Magicka. Intelligence maxes at 100, High Elf adds 1.5x , and Atronach adds 2.0x. Without items/glitching, the Maximum Magicka that a character can attain is 450 Magicka with 100 Intelligence (ie Altmer Atronach, with 100 (Int) + 150 (race) + 200 (sign) = 450).

- Fatigue is determined by a combination of Strength, Willpower, Agility and Endurance. Once all these 4 reach 100, Fatigue will be 400, which is maxed before items/glitching. A side note on Fatigue: having this near 100% when performing skill actions (hitting things, casting spells, talking, etc) is more important than maxing it out, though obviously having more Fatigue means that it drains slower. Restore Fatigue spells/items work wonders , particularly Constant Effect ones!

- If you started with the Lady and Luck as a Favoured Attribute, regardless of Race (as they all start with the Same number of Attributes), the lowest level possible required to Max all Attributes to 100 (including Luck) is Level 37. This requires some serious Attribute juggling, as well as the Bittercup in combination with an appropriate Fortify/Drain Attribute Spell.

If you’d like to read more into the ‘Max Attributes ASAP’ idea, then may I recommend reading the final three posts (#69- #71) of this stupidly long thread:

Atronach gives x2. High Elves get x1.5, so that is how you get max Magicka of 250.

Your attributes do not stunt your leveling if you max them all, it is based on skills. I got a character maxed out and spent like, 40 levels just adding one point to luck every level. I even gained a level or two where I got no attributes increased cause they were all at 100. I got to level 74 total with everything at 100. A bit over 700 health.

And technically there is no 'max level' cause you can do things like go to jail, or cheese trainers and drain spells.

From UESP:
If that High Elf had The Atronach birthsign, then the total fortification would be 4.5 (1.0(base) + 1.5 (Race) + 2.0(Birthsign)). Altogether this gives the character 4.5x INT total Magicka, which gives a total maximum (with intelligence at 100) of 450 Magicka.

What a necro.

But yes, technically 450 Magicka at 100 Int is the highest possible without buffs or glitching, and level 78 is the max level without using jail exploit or similar. As mentioned in my earlier comment. From 4 years ago.
