save your keybindings. . .?
every time I launch the game and start playing, I change the default keybindings to something more "playable"

but then . . .

every time I leave and relaunch the game, my keybindings always get reset to the defaults and I have to change them back again.

how do I get it to save my changes?

you need to run the game as admin, then your hazzels should be over.

If just running as admin doesn't fix that issue, there's a couple other things you can try.

For some people it's fixed by disabling cloud sync, setting Morrowind and its launcher to run as admin, running the launcher, putting in the settings you want, closing the game, and then reenabling cloud sync.

You might also want to make sure Morrowind isn't set to "read only".

Though, admittedly, for some people the problem will never be solved. Morrowind is sadly very very buggy and that's just something you have to deal with if you want to play it.

how do I "disable cloud sync"?
I don't see that option in the launcher.

also I don't know how to "set the game to run as admin"

I could navigate directly to the folder that morrowind is located in, and then I right click and run as admin instead of launching it through steam, but whenever I do that, the game crashes to the desktop and I get an error message.

you disable cloud sync by going into your library and right clicking the game in the side bar and selecting properties from the list, the option should be there. :) I'm having the same issue so I hope this fixes it. :'D
