Want to play with XBOX 360 controller? Here is a solid solution.

After not finding THE DEFINITIVE way to play on these forums, I am now posting what I've found to work pretty darn solidly.

First get AntiMicro and install - https://github.com/AntiMicro/antimicro/releases

Then download this controller config - https://www.dropbox.com/s/e40uux0t6xgeqx7/morrowind-xbox-360.gamecontroller.amgp?dl=0

In AntiMicro click Load, and select the config file. You might need to tweak things a bit (I had to change the left stick modifier so that it was DISTANCE 90%, SHIFT, which the config above HAS).

Generally I'm able to play as I used to on the original XBOX. Feedback/alternatives welcome!

Doesn't the game already have support for the XBox 360 controller? AFAIK, your method solves a problem that doesn't seem to exist.

No, Morrowind was released during the original Xbox era. It does not come with any controller support. OpenMW solves this but you can also use macro programs like the one posted here to play Morrowind with a controller.

Aside from medical reasons, I'm not sure why you'd want to play a TES game with a controller over M+KB, but I do appreciate you sharing this method for anyone who may wish to play as you do.

Just installed this and the button functions work fine in the program, do i need to modify morrowind.ini files? Not working in game
