in skyrim it's dual-wielding of spells and concept of equipable spells in general. in oblivion it's casting while wielding a weapon. and in morrowind it's... spellmaking, enchanting and amount or spells in general. you can create so many spells and enchantments that it's even ridiculous.
overall it's probably more like oblivion, where you shoot projectiles. and instead of flamethrower-like spells you casts spells with continuous effects.
Oh, and no magicka regeneration except when you sleep.
