too much money?
oblivion, skyrim both have useless amounts of gold
is this the situation here too? I already have 200k because sold some black brotherhood armor
Where should i spend it? The shops dont have better armor or weapons than mine, and i only have steel!
Already started to bribe random people on street :D

i can spend it on training but never liked it, i always like to learn the skills myself, or dont even use it. (why train magic stuff if i dont have mana to use the spells)

i read some things about enchanting can be expensive, but i am at the start of the game, i know nothing about it

trainers are important in morrowind. for efficient leveling (but this is not as important as in oblivion) and for later in game, when expert skills could take really long time to level up.

but overall, yeah, it's like in every tes game... economy is never something crucial.

edit:

and tribunal expansion is designed to be played after the main quest, so it's normal for dark brotherhood armor to make you rich...

thanks for the answer, in oblivion i gone trough the game several times (xbox too) and never paid a single coin to train, so if its more important there, i think i wont have trouble here, maybe the endgame as you said i will pay for it if i found myself dying too much.

And for the expansion: why the hell the game sends you asassins after the first time you sleep... i remember a lot of years ago i stopped playing because i was not able to kill them

If you are finding the game too easy and you are making too much money, try this mod -

the game is not easy at all (i still cant fight with a lot of enemies), just the money making, but as you can see, i cant even spend it on something good, so its not a problem, not making the game easy (or maybe if i would train myself with it? i dont know how leveling affects enemies, but as i said, i dont like to spend money on it, i like to "learn myself")

and i dont want to use any mods, only some bug fix and stuff to make the game work

Making enchanted items can cost alot. Spend some money on that. Like a constant regenerate item.

The thing is, after you spend all your money on skills and level ups, and enchanted items and spells, you will be so powerful that the game will be boringly easy. Thats when you will need my mod.

200 k!?? Wow....that is a lot for sure but you can't ever have too much gold, can you? I was merrily traveling through the sewers killing DB Assassins when I looked up the quest for some directions and found that they recommend at least level 25....and my character just made level *5* so I returned to Balmora--only netted about 12k but it is a lot more than I have had up to this point...Apparently the DB boys respawn so it can be a never-ending cash machine! I am sure I will be back for more several times. I rented a pack rat who can carry 100 extra pounds of that nice, light DB armor...

Yea bethesda really didnt think that through. My mod fixes that exploit, and many others.

i can see now why that mod would be good, maybe in a second playtrough i would try, but as i said i try to get vanilla experience
i stopped doing those expansion quests anyway, those sewer goblins kill me with 1-2 hits and realised i should not be there at this point

Make them yourself and then they cost nothing. Make fortify intelligence potions and boost int to around 4000. Save the game before you create as well. Make scrolls to level enchantment as well.

Make them yourself and they cost nothing? Did u take into account all the money spent on training enchant?

You dont need to pay for anything. Make fortify intelligence potions, thats all you need to do in this game. Why pay to level up any of the magic skills? With a intelligence of 4000 I think its impossible to fail on an enchantment. Go make an army of scamps. Its good fun.

you can exploit the heck out of this game through console anytime... why even bother with potion exploits?

It doesnt seem like the OP is interested in cheating.

Yeah, those sets of Dark Brotherhood armor can get you quite a lot, but that's a good thing, because some of the best weapons and armor are really expensive, like Glass Armor. That stuff can cost over 20k, for just the cuirass alone. Imagine the combined cost of the whole set. Plus, the cost of the trainers is cumulative, so you can spend a couple thousand gold on a high-leveled skill to increase it just by one point.

As for the reason DB assassins went after you so quickly, that's because it's part of the Tribunal DLC. Tribunal started out as an expansion pack to the original game, back in its pre-GOTYE days. It was orignally designed to pick up right where you left off from the original game, which your character at the level at which you finished the game. However, when the GOTYE of the game was released, the timing of the DB assassin attacks got screwed up.
