Help with MGE XE - Distant Lands Generator
Hello,

Thanks in advance for any help. I am going through the s.t.e.p. guide and have everything pretty much done. I am confused however about how I should use the Distant Lands Generator Wizard in MGE XE. All the S.T.E.P. guide says about it is " Generate distant land with all plugins that isn't gameplay-related. Set grass density to 60%." That just isn't specific enough to help me. I don't know well enough which mod does what to determine whether there is anything in it that needs to be accounted for in distant lands.

I assume I need of course the base Morrowind esm. files. Things like Remiros' Ascadian Isles Trees 2 are obvious enough to include but how about mods like "The Publicans" or "Official Add-Ons Patched". I'm just not sure. I assume those mods fall under gameplay mods but I also kind of thing they would affect distant viewing.

again any help is appreciated. I'd like to post a screenshot of the plugins I have in the distant lands generator wizard but I'm not sure if there's any way to attach a file to this post.

Just follow the steps. It works perfectly if you just follow it, its how I do it and I can see the Dwarven Ruin on the mountain all the way from Balmora. Just add all of the plugins in as it says, regardless of what those are
