Save Issue

For the longest time, I been having this save issue, where i would autosave and or save over a previous save, and the game would pause for about 15 seconds. Then a message would come up, saying "autosave can't save" continue running executable? If i clicked yes twice, it wouldn't save. If anyone has found the solution to this let me know

Just turn off Autosave. It may be bugged for the vanilla version (as you can see, I obviously don't use it). If you do want Autosave kept on, try making a new saved game each time and save often. Save files can go corrupt sometimes if they are saved over too many times.

In any case, if you get a pop-up warning you of something and asking if you still wish to run the executable, click "No" unless you've made backups of that saved game beforehand. Running a saved game after you get a warning pop-up can sometimes ruin your saved game and you will no longer be able to play it.

Try using the "verify cache" option in steam.

I have the same problem, but mine involves the quicksave. I'm going to try the "veify cache" option for it though. thanks for the info.
