Cannot advance further in Mage's Guild!

I'm currently a Conjurer trying to advance to Magician. I've met the requirements with my Conjuration skill at 52, and other Magic Schools well past 20, yet I'm still denied advancement, saying i haven't met the Guild requirements.

Am I doing something wrong? My skills are not damaged, nor my attributes (both Intelligence and Willpower are past 65).

Have you tried asking for a quest in all the Guild's locations?

You also need to do some jobs for the guild. And if guild master in your current location doesn´t offer you any, check guild masters in another towns. But by "Advancement" Guild master should tell you what is wrong, if it are your skills or that "you didn´t prove enough devotion to your guild". Sometimes, there may be ever other requirements, like pay some fee or buy (or steal) a wizard´s staff.

Conjuration is not one of the skills the Mage's Guild cares about.

They look for Alchemy, Alteration, Destruction, Enchant, Illusion and Mysticism.

When i ask any Guild Stewart, they say "The Mage's Guild appreciates the duties you have done, but you simply do not meet our requirements for Magician."

I've been doing a steady stream of duties since I've hit this wall, not sure how to overcome it...

Have you payed the 200 gold fee yet? I'm not sure why they wouldn't ask you to pay the fee unless you don't have enough gold or something.. Try advancing at different mages guilds and see if anyone will take the fee

You won't be able to advance in ranks until you get one of Alchemy, Alteration, Destruction, Enchant, Illusion or Mysticism to level 50 or higher.
