3x leveling mod.
Anyone tried this before?

https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/45435/

It's working pretty good for me but probably making the game too easy. What's mods do y'all like for easier leveling?

Leveling is already stupidly easy. You can either just become a level 1 god with alchemy, or make potions at level 1 and sell them to creeper in caldera to afford a fortify skill 100 on other spell that makes any trainer able to train you up to 100 in whatever stat you pick. You can even go to jail to reduce your skills in order to level up more than regular max level.

This game is so easy to cheese, it doesn't need leveling mods.

It cuts some exploits, but really the game still couldn't ever be hard with the spell system even remotely intact. They didn't mention cutting the chameleon spell, the reflect ability, or even spell absorbtion. With everything I know about morrowind, I don't think anything could make it hard again.

He just tries to advertise his mod wherever he can. Don't worry about it.

Oh.... the mod does way more than you can imagine. Its in the name. Did you even watch the video?

Dont listen to whiskers, he is the resident morrowind hater and village idiot.

If they didn't remove the damage attribute spell, and the levitate spell I win forever anyway. There's really NO way to remove all the cheesy stuff you can do, and even if the game gets harder there's nothing that would be able to touch me. In fact, if the game did get harder it would justify being cheesy. I've done literally everything in morrowind twice. There's a certain point where you know too much about the world and because of that knowledge it's impossible to fail. I'll check the video out, but I doubt it changes the game enough to make it worth playing again.

Edit: Watched the video. Not really impressed. I like that the enemies will use better tactics, but the archmagister wouldn't have been able to see me, wouldn't be able to hit me with spells because of absorption. Even if he could see me, I'd still have a stupidly powerful weapon like the daedric crescent or an ebony scimitar with a shock enchant that ends up dealing enough damage to one shot Vivec. I know too much.

Well you dont know enought about my mod then. Most of what you just mentioned is either impossible or mitigated. Ive played the game alot more than you have it seems, and I know all the tricks also. You are right though, no matter what I do I cant eliminate every cheesy tactic, unless I reprogram the whole game, but my mod cuts it down to a bare minimum.

And if you do end up playing it, I would appreciate feedback on any cheese that I missed. No doubt I could have missed a few things. Its a big world. I can always update the mod.

I'll give it a go and try a few tricks. See if it's actually going to give a grandmaster any difficulty.

Exactly the reason I created this mod. To challenge the grandmasters.

I know you probably just DL the mod, but fyi just now I uploaded a new version

Hey are there directions on installing mods from this site? I'm currently downloading the morrowind overhaul - sound and graphics. I've never modded anything in my life lol.
Guts Aug 30, 2019 @ 5:45pm
It's as easy as adding the mod's .esm file to your morrowind folder that has the other .esm files fo the base game. Then you enable the mod at launch. Morrowind was designed to be modded.

I switched to the GDC mod anyway. The 3x leveling mod was too spammy but it's good for speedruns.
