Morrowind Graphics Extender XE not saving settings

Hello all.

I'm having some issue with MGE XE that I never had before. So it will no longer save any of my settings when I make changes. Rather, it reverted to some weird settings that it shouldn't have. I have been running it fine on 1080, windowed mode, and suddenly, it refuses to allow me to play on those settings. I can change the resolution in game, but it simply will not allow me to play windowed any more.

Similarly, when I make changes in other areas, it simply does not save them.

I can tell you the only thing I did was move my short cut icon from one side of my desktop to the other, and that's when the issues started. I SERIOUSLY doubt moving my desktop short cut icon could have caused any of these issues, so I'm not saying this is the problem, but it coincided with it.

I'm considering uninstalling and reinstalling, but if there's an easier solution, I'll try that first.
