Arena and Daggerfall in Morrowind?
Is there a mod that brings arena and daggerfall to morrowind like how there is Morrowblivion and Skyblivion and Skywind

I didn't mean it as an insult or to ask you to say more. I just thought it was funny. Most people aren't that straight up thanks for the answer.

You do realize that not a single one of those mods that bring a previous game into the new engine have ever even been close to complete right?

they are not to far away though

Morroblovion has been in production since 2006, and still not done. Skywind since 2012 and not nearly as far along as the former.

I mean id be glad if they were done but I would say not until 2025 if ever.

Morroblivion is. The game is playable, and so are pretty much all the quests. However, it is buggy, and due to some limitations, not everything has been implemented and realized. It's been abandoned, pretty much. There are two or three people who are still making updates, but they have nothing to do with the main team who worked on the project. The main team was ambitious and knew what they were doing, but they've pretty much disappeared now.

Morroblivion is good, but Morrowind is still the best way to play Morrowind. Until OpenMW 1.0 comes out, that is...

As for Skywind and Skyblivion... yeah. Skywind's slowed down to a crawl. If anything will come out, it'll be years. Skyblivion, on the other hand, seems to have been almost completely abandoned. The guys working on those projects back in the heyday had no idea what they were doing, and now there's like ten decent guys left who work on it every now and then.

Skywind and Skyblivion were doomed from the start.

Thanks for that, Boss!
Eh I have to peacefully disagree on the 1st thing I talked to one of the devs and have scanned their discord it's still going strong

The best you'll probably get at the moment that's even remotely close to something like that would be the tamriel rebuilt project... It might not be daggerfall or arena, but it adds a pretty big chunk of the rest of the land, its "lore friendly" too I think.. Worth checking out :)... But fair warning though, it might also be worth using openmw as well, the vanilla Morrowind engine can barely handle the big cities if you plan on giving tamriel rebuilt a go.

There is a remastered Daggerfall project, this: http://www.dfworkshop.net/

It's wip, but very advanced and promising. Will be highly moddable too, so I think there will be a Daggerfall modding (modest) renaissance soon.

On the other hand, there aren't Daggerfall/Arena mods to play with Morrowind engine, but in my opinion, this is not because some limitation in the engine as some user suggested.

On the contrary, with Morrowind engine could be possible to build Arena and Daggerfall perfectly. The first two ES games were procedurally "designed". Is not the same that No Man's Sky, because both games, but specially Daggerfall, aren't randomly generated or change in every gameplay, but pre-designed worlds with fixed geography, locations or game content even if there are some randomization in loot or enemies and an automatic world creation (in development but not in player perspective). In Morrowind vanilla construction set, there are many options to randomize content, and in there isn't the game world limit that Oblivion or Skyrim's engine have. You can create a world of the size of Africa in Morrowind's engine if you want. But of course the modders would need some extra tool to "auto generate" repeated terrain or locations as Arena and Daggerfall developers used in these games design.

There isn't a Dagerfall ported to Morrowind by a mod, for the simple reason that the scope and focus in both games is very different. And there isn't modder enough interested to move from little but very unique world in Morrowind (for me clearly the most unique worldbuilding ever) and to return to large randomly generated worlds.

I only can imagine a mod to rebuild Daggerfall with a map 1000 times smaller, but totally handcrafted and with 100 times more content and uniqueness. Or to port some cool Daggerfall game mechanics to Morrowind. But who could like to return to old generic content and procedurally generated maps in Morrowind's engine? To experience Arena/Daggerfall, simply play vanilla games or Daggerfall Unity.
