The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

1920x1080 without mods?
as title suggests. Also, regedit trick didn't work for some reason.

I used MCP and it just worked. Of course, some people consider patches to be mods. Whatever.

as long as it's like the unofficial patch, it's fine in my book. does it drastically change the game?

Win+R, type regedit. HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> Classes -> VirtualStore -> Machine -> Software -> Wow6432Node -> Bethesda Softworks -> Morrowind. Find Screen Height, right click and modify. Change Base to Decimal and type your resolution height. Same thing to that Screen Width. I have 1920x1080 so Height decimal 1080 and Width decimal 1920. Remember change that Base to Decimal or it wont work!

I think it's better to use MGE, because it gives you the option to set FOV = 90 or more.
The default FOV for 800x600 is 75 and it's really hard to play without set 90 for 1920x1080.

Yes MGE is better and you can customize 3rd person camera as well. Default fov is so bad so thats why i use MGE too.

MGE won't let me use steam overlay and it's pissing me off. I don't like mods that completely butcher the original look of the game. I find it annoying and out of place.

you found those files? It worked for me. If you did not find those width and height files, try HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Wow6432Node -> Bethesda Softworks -> Morrowind.
