Problems with Accuracy mods.
Hi, well I gotta admit when I started my first (and only) playthrough of this game, I used accuracy mods. More specificly "Accurate Attack". I discovered that the game was way too easy and broken because of it, so I uninstalled the mod. The only problem is that it still has an affect on my game, in the sense that it is as if it is still installed.

Can some of maybe find a solution? I know I should probably just start a new game, but I've gotten fairly far in my game, so another solution would be fine. But still thanks if you can give me any help, or something...

Sorry if my English is a little broken, I'm not a native speaker...

I would warn you that not having such mods won't make the game harder, and in some cases will actually make it much easier.

Well I just want to play the way the game was intended, but thanks anyway!

Well I have some problems getting the program started, I have downloaded it as instructed and I have tried to map the directories to the correct places. Do you have any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Start a new game and don't install mods if you plan on ever getting rid of them. If you wanna hit stuff the normal way early on keep your stamina high and pick something like Redguard with melee weapons. Agility attribute also helps.

Thanks! My new game has no of the problems the old one had, though it's a little annoying to do all those quests over again... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If I had to guess the 'mod' increased the starting agility of all the different races to 100, or some other very high value. Uninstalling the mod doesn't mean it changed the values back.

Either turn the difficulty up or install a mod (specifically made for the 100% hit chance mod) which doubles the health of everything in the game.

If you want to avoid the RPG mechanics of the game you might want to install Morroblivion instead. You'd need both Morrowind and Oblivion, but it would give you Morrowind and its expansions with the potato graphics and modernized combat of Oblivion.

You don't need the accurate attack mod. If you build your character right, even at level one, you can hit a majority of the enemies in the game.

Well I've started a new Morrrowind game, and my agility and weapon skill is so high that it does not really matter any more. Besides it just takes a little getting used to. I have played Oblivion and Skyrim for quite a while, so I just wanted to make it like those games a bit.
I understand now that Morrowind's gameplay is the best of those three game, though I miss the interesting quests of Oblivion.

Glad you like it, Morrowind focuses on stats over skill. If you set your characters initial skills right you can do whatever you want pretty well.. magic, agility, or strength. You just have to specialize in something immediately, and then build secondary skills during the game.
I really miss acrobatics from the newer games, It was really useful in Morrowind.

Not really. Morrowind requires both stats AND skill. It has the skill-based combat since you've gotta ready your bow, aim, make sure it's fully pulled back, then make sure it hits the target. And then there's the whole rpg half of the combat where the game checks your character and enemy stats and rolls the dice.

But what if you play as close combat? I think there is skill in Morrowind, but that's more in the scroll spell department. As in when to use what and stuff like that.

Though I have no idea about crossbows, bows and those throwing things...

Yeah, sorry, blanket term. I don't really see 'more' skill in the stripped down sequels, but thats the idea.
The sheer depth of Morrowind is connected to the skills to play.
